What is a Master Naturalist?
A "Master Naturalist" is a person who has completed a specialized training program, usually involving classroom learning and fieldwork, to gain in-depth knowledge about their local natural environment and then actively volunteers their time to contribute to conservation efforts in their community, often through education and stewardship projects; essentially, a certified nature expert dedicated to environmental conservation through volunteer work.
