Vince Weber is looking for Master Naturalist volunteers to help with monitoring agaves in designated sites at the fort. The protocol is pretty easy and is based on the Nature's Notebook Citizen Science protocol. Why is surveying agaves so important? It is because lesser long-nosed bats depend on them for their nectar.
